We are so twisted, our ways of being wicked almost appears gifted/ destructive devices that entices our every whim/ hearts telling us to sin and forget about it, you have when you get old to live forgiven/ sick, that we don’t recognize Satan’s trick but see it as our desire/ always remember the devil is a liar
“A Broken Heart’s Inner Misfortune”
So broken
Inner misfortune
A descended disease
Eager to do as I please
Battles reoccurring
The same my parents are enduring
Must find love
In it’s purest form
Or else my heart will be forever torn
Lost in distaste that feeds the ego
And we know
As we see our need to feed on it continues to grow
There’s no peace here
Our flesh is a feast here
Chewing away at our own doing
No name to blame
Our name in unison is SHAME
Tears may fall
But we are still guilty of it all
Where is the escape?
Where is our fate?
I’m calling out to you children of wrath
We no longer have to be a slave to our past
Whether it is our own faults
Or the results of our genealogy
Freedom is what Christ has come to offer me
No more lust
If truly in Him I trust
No more wants to fulfill in this skin
All things are complete in Him
Cry out
Emotions rage
Die out
If we don’t turn the page
To begin a new chapter
Here in never ending love, joy and laughter
